1 Thessalonians 5:17 “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” How can we give thanks for all circumstances, especially the painful ones? Notice this passage does not say give thanks FOR all circumstances. It says give thanks IN all circumstances. What a difference one word makes!
