LUKE | The Faith of a Centurion

Twice in the gospels we read of Jesus being amazed by faith…
(1) In Nazareth, “He was amazed at their lack of faith.” (Mark 6:6 NIV)
(2) In Capernaum Jesus is amazed by a Roman Centurion’s Great FAITH (Lk 7:7)

Augustine said of this centurion, “Counting himself unworthy that Christ should enter his doors, he was counted worthy that Christ should enter his heart.”
