Members of One Another

As we continue our series on the One Another commands of the New Testament we see that the Church of Christ is the Body of Christ, made up of many members.

As Members of One Another…
• We Need One Another (Romans 12:3-5)
• To Encourage One Another (1 Corinthians 12:12-19)
• To Honor One Another (1 Corinthians 12:20-24)
• To Sympathize with One Another (1 Corinthians 12:25-27)

Encourage One Another

Encouraging One Another to Keep the Faith

Encouraging one another is a command given to the people of God. Even a mustard seed of encouragement can help a brother or sister struggling with discouragement. May God help us to encourage one another to keep the faith.

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Hebrews 10:24–25

Building One Another Up

Building One Another Up in the Most Holy Faith

For God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us so that whether we are awake or asleep we might live with Him. Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.
