“We have found the Messiah” (which is translated, the Christ). And he brought him to Jesus” (John 1:41-42 NKJ).
Messiah means “anointed” and was associated with three offices of the Old Testament: Prophet, Priest and King. The promised Messiah would take on all three: 1. PROPHET: who brings the message of God down to people. 2. PRIEST: who takes the role of making people acceptable to God. 3. KING: who rules over God’s Kingdom and Protects His People. This is lesson 4 in a series JESUS: The Name Above Every Name studying the names and titles of Jesus in order to know Him better. | AUDIO | TEXT PDF
