“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.” –John 10:11
The image of a shepherd is woven throughout Israel’s history. Moses was a shepherd for 40 years before leading Israel out of Egyptian slavery. David was a shepherd before becoming king of Israel. Jesus refers to Himself as the Good Shepherd who guides and protects and even gave His life for His sheep. But not all shepherds are good shepherds. Let’s study how Jesus is the good shepherd in contrast to those who are wolves in sheep’s clothing. | AUDIO | TEXT PDF
