Love One Another

By This All Will Know You Are My Disciples

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” –John 13:34–35

What is agape love? Why are we commanded to have it? Why is agape love so important? How are we to love one another as Jesus loves us? Let’s examine the Lord’s instructions for us to love one another.

Only One Thing Necessary

The One Thing That Changes Everything

“And Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. 42 But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.” –Luke 10:41-42

2020 was a year full of worries, troubles and distractions. How can we approach this new year better than the last year? Jesus gives us a principle to help us. A way to set aside the burden of worry and choose the better way. The secret to true joy, peace, answered prayer, grace and eternal life. It really is the one thing that changes everything!

Forgive One Another

As Christ Has Forgiven You

The subject of forgiveness is both uncomfortable as well as powerful. Forgiveness has the power to change a person’s life for eternity. There are over 75 word pictures in Scripture of forgiveness.
–To Forgive is to turn the key, open the cell door and let the prisoner go free.
–To Forgive is to loose the anchor and set the ship free to sail.
–To Forgive is to give a full pardon to a condemned and sentenced criminal.
–To Forgive is to loosen a stranglehold on an opponent.
–To Forgive is to pound the gavel in a court room and declare ‘Not Guilty’.
In this lesson we examine the what, why and how of forgiving one another.
