A man fell into a pit and couldn’t get himself out... A BUDDHIST said: “Your pit is only a state of mind.” A HINDU said: “This pit is there to make you a better person.” A PROFESSOR: “If you would’ve listened to me, you’d never have fallen into that pit.” A SUBJECTIVE person came along and said: “I FEEL for you, down there.” An OBJECTIVE person said: “It’s logical that someone would fall, down there.” A NEW AGE PERSON said: “You only THINK that you are in a pit.” A PHARISEE said: “Only BAD people fall into a pit.” A FUNDAMENTALIST said: You DESERVE your pit.” A CALVINIST: That was no accident, You were PREDESTINED to fall in that pit.” A NARCISSIST said: “that’s nothing, you should see my pit.” A REALIST said: “Yep, that’s a pit.” An IDEALIST said: “The world shouldn’t have pits.” An OPTIMIST said: “Things could be worse.” A PESSIMIST said: “Things WILL Get Worse.” But Jesus seeing the man caught in a pit, grabbed his hand and pulled him out.
